Our Client, an oil and gas company in Middle East is currently looking for:

Senior SIMOPS Coordinator (64539)

Main Responsibilities:
This position supports the LNG 3 & 4 Onshore project in the construction, mechanical completion, commissioning and startup of a two mega train LNG project and has overall responsibility for the development, deployment and administration of the LNG 3&4 Onshore SIMOPS program.

The responsibilities include:
• Maintaining the schedule of SIMOPS work programs derived from the Project SIMOPS Plan.
• Develops, implements and maintains the SIMOPS Dossier, Manual of Permitted Operations, supporting procedures and studies, planning, etc.
• Expediting progress of all SIMOPS preparation activities in accordance with the SIMOPS Plan, Rules, and procedures up to the point of implementation on site, ensuring that they are scheduled and completed in a timely manner to meet the overall SIMOPS planning schedule.
• Prepares and/or maintains reports (audit, inspection, investigation etc.), files, and written correspondence related to the SIMOPS activities.
• Assisting in the preparation of Terms of Reference, scheduling and organizing the logistics of third Party SIMOPS Reviews, and associated analyses and reviews.
• Maintaining the SIMOPS Register and Tracking System.
• Daily communication to LNG SIMOPS Coordinator, CTJV SIMOPS Coordinator, and all Sub Contractor representative
• Expediting the status of the SIMOPS study actions and recommendations
• Assists the Main Contractor to Investigate incidents to determine the cause of same, and to determine violations of standards. Makes recommendations to the Contractor to prevent further recurrence.
• Gathers evidence and prepares reports on SIMOPS violation complaints and Safety / Environmental accidents.
• Reviews accident, injury, illness and environmental reports to detect problem areas related to SIMOPS implementation.
• Communicates the SIMOPS Rules to Project personnel.
• Inspects and prepares reports on requests for variance to the established SIMOPS standards.
• Assists contractor in develops and Implementing all SIMOPS related training material.
• Insures that training programs related to SIMOPS are given to required personnel including revisions of the standards.
• Leading and taking part in integrated planning, SIMOPS & HAZID reviews, analyses, etc., either as Chairman, coordinator, participant or scribe
• Participates and/or conducts meetings with QG SIMOPS, contractor and subcontractor representatives to discuss such points as the Rules, violations, and potential hazards and to resolve disputes regarding SIMOPS issues.

Experience and Qualifications:
• The job holder must be an experienced OPERATIONAL SUPERVISOR with a good all-round understanding of ENGINEERING and construction : with following areas of experience
• Construction and Operations; associated activities for at least 15 years.
• Onshore LNG PROCESS plant OPERATION and supervisory experience for at least 10 years
• CONSTRUCTION processes and organizational structures.
• GAS receiving and treating or LNG PLANT precommissioning and commissioning activities.
• Safety and Environmental risk assessment and engineering concepts and techniques, risk-frequency-consequence relationships and assessment, risk acceptability criteria peculiar to gas/lng plants.
• The job holder should be computer literate and have an aptitude for developing spreadsheets and other applications.
• Graduate / HND Engineer (Chemical, Mechanical, Process) or equivalent
• Extraordinary personal communication skills at all levels (must be a fluent English speaker)
