PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals is a gold mining and exploration company, operating a COW on Halmahera Island, North Maluku. The company is a joint venture between Newcrest Mining Limited (82.5%) and PT Aneka Tambang (17.5%).
The company has vacant position for Safety Manager at Gosowong – North Halmahera, North Maluku with working roster 5 days on and 2 days off.
Requirements:
- Min. 5 years Mining or Heavy Industrial OH&S and training experience in a senior role in a regulated environment
- Exposure to multi national industry operating within Indonesia
- International work experience will be highly regarded
- Relevant OH&S and training qualifications and certificates
- Fluency in English and Bahasa
- Responsible for the planning, implementation and maintenance of Site Safety, ERT and Training Services
- Facilities in support of mining and construction activities
- Facilitate Risk Assessment and Review of major work
- Maintain OH&S Safety and Training records and reports
- Compliance with Australian Safety Standards and applicable Indonesia Laws and Decree of the Minister
- High level of technical and conceptual ability
- Self driven with strong technical planning skills
