Technip established a subsidiary in Indonesia: PT. Technip Indonesia (PTTI), which services the Indonesian Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and General Industrial sectors. PTTI covers offshore and onshore field development, gas processing and liquefaction, refining and onshore pipelines. In non-oil sectors, PTTI covers fertilizers, chemicals, cement, life sciences, power generation and other growth market industries

As part of our business expansion in Indonesia, we are seeking highly qualified professionals who are seeking career development to fill in position below:

1. PIPING ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Should possess a Bachelor Degree in preferably, Mechanical engineering.
  • Should have minimum 4 years experience and above as Piping Engineering in stress analysis of piping for offshore wellhead and compression platform or onshore oil/gas processing platform in an engineering organization using Caesar II software.
  • Must have experience in analyzing piping connected to static vessels, exchangers, pumps, compressors, Fin fan coolers etc., and preparation of datasheets for spring supports.
  • Experience in preparation of piping and valve material specification, piping specialty items datasheets would be an added advantage.
  • Should be computer literate, i.e. familiar with MS Office or equivalent. Experiences in 3D software (PDS or PDMS) would be an added advantage.
  • Should possess good communication skills in English language.
  • Should be willing to be based in Jakarta or Balikpapan.
  • Should be able to work effectively in a team and maintain good quality of work.

2. PIPELINE ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Shall have a minimum of 4 years experience or above as Pipeline Engineering in Oil and gas Industry for Offshore and Onshore projects.
  • Shall have a n Engineering Degree (or recognized equivalent)
  • Should be familiar with International Codes and Standards and common industry practices for design of subsea pipelines, risers and associated facilities.
  • Should have working experience in various pipeline engineering design activities, including:
  • Pipeline and riser mechanical design such as thickness, stability, expansion, spanning, collapse, etc.
  • Pipeline, riser and spool stress analysis
  • Have a working knowledge of offshore construction and equipment
  • Shall have experience in preparation of MTO’s, Cost Estimates, schedules, material and equipment specifications and data sheets.
  • Shall be Computer literate, i.e. shall be able to work on MS Office or equivalent. Experience in the use of AutoPIPE software is preferred. Experience in the use of industry standard software packages would also be an advantage.
  • Shall possess good communication skills in English language. Previous experience as a Team Leader and Good Team Player, and the ability to work with minimum supervision would be an added advantage.

3. MECHANICAL PACKAGE ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Should have at least 4 years experience or above as Package Engineer.
  • Should possess Mechanical Engineering degree from university
  • Should be familiar with International Codes and Standards such as ASME/ANSI/ASTM/TEMA/API, etc.
  • Should possess good English and able to communicate clearly and efficiently with other Engineering discipline, vendors, client representatives, etc.
  • Team spirit, team play and attitude to learn are essential.
  • Should have thorough knowledge in handling packages like boilers, cooling towers, water treatment, etc.
  • Able to review vendor documents and drawings
  • Able to prepare technical clarifications, technical bid evaluations and recommendations

4. MECHANICAL ROTATING ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Should have at least 4 years experience and above as Rotating Engineer.
  • Should possess Mechanical Engineering degree from university
  • Should be familiar with International Codes and Standards such as ASME/ANSI/ASTM/TEMA/API, etc.
  • Should possess good English and able to communicate clearly and efficiently with other Engineering discipline, vendors, client representatives, etc.
  • Team spirit, team play and attitude to learn are essential.
  • Able to review vendor documents and drawings
  • Able to prepare technical clarifications, technical bid evaluations and recommendations
  • Should be familiar with Mechanical design aspects related to compressors, pumps, conveyors/cranes and other mechanical handling equipment

5. HVAC ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Candidate should be a graduate in mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. Should have secured a good score of GPA. Candidate should have at least 4 years experience and above as HVAC Engineer/Senior HVAC Engineer in an engineering organization (Mechanical & Electrical consultancy). Candidate with engineering design experience in Oil & Gas industry will be an advantage.
  • Should be familiar with international codes such as ASHREA, SMACNA, CIBSE, NFPA, etc.
  • Experience with various HVAC system design and layout such as chilled water system and direct expansion system of both air cooled and water cooled.
  • Should be able to prepare HVAC specifications, data sheets (schedule of technical requirements), cost estimate and prepare bid documents for HVAC system.
  • Able to perform heat load calculation, duct sizing, chilled water, pipe sizing, building pressurization.
  • Able to review shop drawing / vendor drawings and coordinate with other discipline on the system requirements.
  • Able to prepare technical clarifications to bidders, technical bid evaluations and recommendations.
  • Have background understanding on services related to HVAC system operation such as fire alarm system and electrical system.
  • Have site exposure and experience on HVAC system installation, testing and commissioning.
  • Able to communicate clearly and correctly with the other discipline engineers, various vendors, client representatives. Good knowledge of English is an added advantage. Team spirit, team play and aptitude to learn are essential.
  • Knowledge in computer applications, MS office, HVAC design software such as carrier E20 or similar is preferable.

6. PROCESS ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in Offshore / Onshore Oil and Gas Engineering, Design and Commissioning Support for Process Engineer.
  • Possess hands on experience in handling Process Engineering software like HYSYS, PIPESIM etc.
  • Able to perform process calculations and develop process drawings with precise knowledge
  • Have analytical knowledge and report writing capabilities.
  • Familiar with international codes and standards applicable for Process Engineering in Oil and Gas industry
  • Should possess good communication skills in English language

7. PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Must possess minimum Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized, fully accredited university in Indonesia.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience and above as Safety Engineer in Offshore / Onshore Oil and Gas Engineering, Refining, Petrochemical Engineering/ Operation/ Design and Commissioning Support for Senior Process Safety Engineer.
  • Shall have good written and spoken English language communication skills.
  • Shall be able to check and verify the work of junior engineers and provide guidance as required.
  • Should possess hands on experience in handling Process Safety Engineering softwares like PIPENET, FLARESIM etc.
  • Should be able to perform fire water hydraulic calculations and develop process safety drawings with precise knowledge
  • Should have analytical knowledge and report writing capabilities.
  • Should be familiar with international codes and standards applicable for Process Safety Engineering in Oil and Gas industry
  • Should have enough supervisory skill to manage a team of engineers and drafters
  • Should be able to co-ordinate with other disciplines and the client as an effective team worker.

8. INSTRUMENT ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Shall have minimum 4 years experience and above as Instrument Engineer in instrumentation field of Oil and Gas Industry for Offshore and Onshore projects.
  • Shall have an Engineering degree from a recognized university with good GPA
  • Familiar with international design codes and standards.
  • Shall have good proven working experience including but not limited to the following:
  • Preparation of datasheets for field instruments
  • Preparation of specification for systems such as DCS, ESD, F&G, Wellhead Control panel, etc.
  • Review of layouts and other design engineering documents and drawings.
  • Knowledge of Smart Plan Instrumentations will be added advantage.
  • Shall possess good communication skills in English language. Previous experience as a Team Leader and Good Team Player would be added advantage.
  • Computer literate and is required shall be proficient working on MS Office.

 

9. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Should have an Engineering degree from a recognized university.
  • Should have at least 4 years experience and above as Electrical Engineer in an engineering organization of oil and gas industry for Offshore and Onshore projects and/or petrochemical/power plant projects. Minimum 10 years experience can be considered for Senior Electrical Engineer position.
  • Should be conversant with electrical engineering analysis software such as ETAP / EDSA for conducting and concluding the various studies (covering Load Flow, Short Circuit, Transient Stability, Motor Starting, Relay Coordination, Harmonic Analysis studies). Having exposure to working in 3D projects utilizing PDS / PDMS would be an added advantage.
  • Should be familiar with International Codes and Standards (NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, etc.).
  • Should have working experiences in various electrical design activities, including but not limited to:
  • Calculations (such as Lighting, Earthing and Cable Sizing).
  • Electrical layout preparation (such as Cable and Cable Tray Layouts, Lighting Layouts, including Layouts etc).
  • Electrical Bulk Material Take Off (MTOs) and familiar with electrical equipment selection for hazardous area environments (both NEC and IEC).
  • Should have knowledge in computer literate, i.e. MS Office or equivalent. Having experiences on 2D CAD tools such as AutoCAD and/or Microstation, 3D modeling tools (PDS or PDMS) exposure would be preferable and an added advantage.
  • Should possess good communication skills in English language
  • Should hold Indonesia citizenships and ready to be placed in Jakarta.
  • Should be able to work effectively in team, maintain good quality of work, and possess good analytical skills in problem solving.

10. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Requirements:

  • Possess recognized degree in Civil or Structural Engineer
  • 4 years experience and above as Senior Structural Engineer in Structural analysis and design in Oil and Gas industry for offshore platforms.
  • Experienced using SACS software for design of offshore structures
  • Should possess good communication skills in English language
  • Should hold Indonesian citizenship and ready to be placed in Jakarta or Balikpapan
