PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR), is a subsidiary of G-Resources Group (www.g-resources.com), a HK based Limited Company with its focus to become a major gold mining company operating within Asia. G-Resources is developing the Martabe Project in North Sumatra, approximately 40 km south-east of Sibolga. Gold and silver ore will be mined by open pit methods using a mining contractor. A processing facility will be built adjacent to the pit to process ore at a rate of 4.5 Mtpa to produce approximately 200,000 oz of gold and 2 million oz of silver annually.

PTAR is now pleased to invite applications for the following role.

MANAGER – REGIONAL EXPLORATION (GEO1201)

This position will be based in Martabe Project at South Tapanuli, North Sumatra and Jakarta and report directly to the General Manager – Exploration.

The role bf the Manager – Regional Exploration will be responsible for Management of the company s highly prospective 1639 km2 Contract of Work in North Sumatra, Indonesia. You will have a high level of autonomy and will be supported by a high quality team. G-Resources has a strong commitment to exploration as a plank in its growth strategy and has allocated significant budgets for Regional Exploration in the Martabe Contract of Work. Exploration is targeting high sulphidation and low sulphidation epithermal gold as well as porphyry copper-gold deposits and the successful applicant will have experience in these deposit styles. The incumbent will also have the opportunity to utilise their broad experience by participation in external project reviews and project generation activities.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum Tertiary Qualifications in Geoscience
  • Greater than 10 years Exploration Geology experience
  • A solid knowledge of exploration techniques and a drive for exploration success.
  • A commitment to ensuring exploration activities are carried out to the highest possible safety, environmental and community relations standards.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Previous success in challenging environments.
  • Good Computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience in Indonesia will be highly regarded, but is not required.
