Legal Coordinator (Code: LC)
Kalimantan based

Main Purpose
Responsible for maintaining valid required licenses/permits with various authorities, preparing, analyzing, revising and filing contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods and services. Leadership and project management for obtaining key licenses/permits for key projects that Puma has ongoing in Kalimantan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and project management of key licensing projects covers but not limited to prepare, coordinate, document, and file for required licenses/permits.
  • Company administration such as track authorizations and correspondence, and maintaining detailed and organized files.
  • Legal work including prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements, ensure that contractors, suppliers, and clients are in compliance with legal requirements, and research on new legal law, regulations as when the need arises.
  • Contract administration and corporate secretarial coordination
  • Maintain good networking with:
    • BPH Migas: including but not limited to trading licenses, SKPP, SKPI, transport license, storage license.
    • Port authority : respective port regulations, including but not limited to: bunkering permit, jetty permit.
    • BKPM : national and regional regulations, including but not limited to establishment and renewal of : IU, API-U, quarterly report.
    • Local Government : respective local government offices, including but not limited to : TDP, Situ, Pemda.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with standard MS office computer software and online resources
  • Ability in contract review and drafting
  • Energetic, dynamic, and enthusiastic personality
  • Have the ability to work independently when required, managing a number of matters simultaneously.

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Law/Social Science
• Experience minimum 5 years on same field
• English proficiency both written and spoken
• Understand the process of country/provincial licensing
• Has good relation, network, and familiar with the working level of various authorities
• Experience in oil industry
• Comfortable with managing a busy workload of changing priorities
