Laboratory Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operation of the laboratory
- Ensure timely processing and storage of all cord blood units
- Identify and recommend process development/ improvements in processing and storage of cord blood units
- Responsible for competency testing and ensure adherence to documented procedures and protocols
- Ensure adherence to lab and regulatory requirements
- Maintain safe and clean working environment in the lab
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Science/ Biomedical/ Biotechnology or other related life sciences disciplines
- At least 3-5 years of biomedical or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience working under Quality Assurance and Regulatory compliance environment
- Cord blood processing or blood banking industry experience would be advantageous
- Understanding of aseptic handling techniques
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Ability to lead and motivate lab staff
