Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI)
Agribusiness Consultant
(Konsultan untuk Proyek Agribisnis)

IFC is looking for firm or consultant to work with sub-national governments and key stakeholders to develop a focused, replicable and scalable solution that address key policy, regulatory and administrative impediments hindering efficient flow of the selected agricultural commodity to markets. The project’s objective is to increase the competitiveness of the agribusiness industry and enhance the enabling conditions for increased investment of the selected commodity. The scope of the project covers diagnostic work to identify, filter, and provide understanding and baselines of policy issues inhibiting productivity growth and commodity competitiveness, identify area of improvement, design options for policy and institutional reforms, and implementing the solution design to ensure the benefits are sustained beyond project’s completion.

Selection criteria include:

  1. In-depth understanding of Indonesia agriculture policy and regulations and agricultural commodity value chain. Experience in the following commodities: palm oil, cocoa, integrated poultry, and fresh fruit and vegetables would be an advantage.
  2. Demonstrated experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder dialog, develop solution design and managing change management process particularly for government and industry client.
  3. Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research in Indonesia.
