Key accountabilities
- Interfaces with refinery operations, volume planning, commercial groups, and management to provide technical troubleshooting and optimization support for LNG operations.
- Develops processes, systems and performance measures to facilitate the optimization of operations.
- Recommends and coordinates changes in the field.
- Initiates, develops and leads capital and expense projects to improve the process.
- Provides technical support across own and other areas, including incident investigation, equipment inspection, and procedure review.
- Provides coaching and technical training for process operations staff.
- Evaluates, recommends, and helps implement best practice technology to process operations.
- Networks with other BP manufacturing sites to leverage resources and share best practices.
Essential criteria & qualifications
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Chemical/Process Engineering, is required.
- More than 5 years process engineering experience.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
- An Oil and Gas industry experience in Exploration and Production is desirable.
