Wellhead Service Engineers

Primary Objective:

  • The Wellhead Service Engineers will work as part of the Subsea Support Group within Technical Services and will be responsible for providing subsea facilities (such as structures, trees, pipelines, flowlines, umbilicals, flexible risers) maintenance, integrity and inspection support on existing subsea developments.
  • Provide knowledge base in subsea facilities integrity management and inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry-out subsea facilities inspection/maintenance plans and workscopes.
  • Write subsea inspection reports including assessment of defects and anomalies; preparation of remedial recommendations. Provision of technical support during remediation.
  • Review of external inspection reports including assessment of other defects and anomalies; preparation of remedial recommendations. Provision of technical support during remediation.
  • Provision of ad-hoc support during operations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in offshore subsea facilities, inspection, integrity management and maintenance. Subsea design experience will be an advantage.
  • Experience in working for Subsea Equipment or Engineering Companies.
  • Strong analytical skills, conversant with relevant international codes & standards.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Indonesian Nationality.

Team Leader – Wellhead Service Engineers

Primary Objective:

  • The Team Leader will manage a team of Service Engineers within Technical Services and will be responsible for providing subsea facilities (such as structures, trees, pipelines, flowlines, umbilicals, flexible risers) maintenance, integrity and inspection leadership.
  • Subject Matter Expert in subsea facilities integrity management, maintenance and inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and management of annual subsea facilities inspection/maintenance plans and workscopes.
  • Review of subsea inspection reports. Assessment of defects and anomalies; preparation of remedial recommendations. Provision of technical support during remediation.
  • Review of external inspection reports. Assessment of defects and anomalies; preparation of remedial recommendations. Provision of technical support during remediation.
  • Provision of ad-hoc support during operations.
  • Training of national engineers.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in an appropriate engineering subject.
  • Chartered/Licensed Engineer preferred but not essential.
  • Extensive experience in subsea facilities, inspection, integrity management and maintenance.
  • Subsea design experience will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, conversant with relevant international codes & standards
  • Strong management skills.

Senior Safety & Risk Engineers

Primary Objective:

  • To provide risk management (safety and reliability) services to the various Safety & Risk Management clients.
  • Clients can be internal business units or external clients.
  • To be responsible to the performance of projects assigned to both in terms of technical capability and also commercial performance of the project.
  • To promote Safety & Risk Management to clients to achieve follow-on work with existing clients and new work with prospective clients.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • To identify the safety engineering scope of work from basis of design.
  • To be able to determine and estimate norms to conduct the scope of work.
  • To be able to raise a suite of project deliverables including procedures, design basis and HES Plan & Schedules of activities.
  • Network with other groups. Interface management with the client.
  • Address and co-ordinate safety in Design requirements.
  • Conduct HAZID workshops and concept option selection.
  • Inherent Safety Review.
  • Knowledge of HAZOP workshops, Fire & Explosion Analysis, Fire Protection related studies and Formal Safety assessments.
  • Safety Critical Element & Performance Standards.
  • Design Requirements for Safety Systems.
  • Deign Safety reviews/Studies, Layout, EERA, ESSA, F&G, Dropped Object, Hazardous Area.
  • Active Fire Protection Design (or knowledge of).
  • Passive Fire Protection Design (or knowledge of).
  • CTR Management 7 progress reporting, Estimation of work scopes & CTR.
  • To determine the Major Accident Hazard events and to apply a formalised approach of Hazard management and provide means of mitigation and reduction of such hazards.
  • To take ownership of and provide direction to engineers through ability to prepare and author full suite of project safety deliverables.
  • Manage a small team of professional and technical people.
  • Quality Assurance- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Safety & Risk Department.
  • Safety- Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Safety & Risk Department. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Essential skills/Experience:

  • Reputable university qualifications in chemical engineering.
  • 8-10 years minimum experience in Safety Process and Risk.
  • HAZOP Chairman experience preferred.
  • Indonesian Nationality.

Senior Process Engineer – Offshore Developments

Primary objectives:

  • To carry out the Technical Integrity role for the Process discipline.
  • To ensure all design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner.
  • To ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.
  • To develop and maintain a quality design threshold for the Process discipline through use of understandable quality procedures.
  • To ensure all Process work is carried out within established budgets and schedules.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Assisting the overall supervision of the Process discipline work.
  • Assisting the technical direction, advice and control of the Process work.
  • Liaison with client discipline representatives to establish technical direction where not provided by codes & standards.
  • Assisting the scope definition, estimation and progress control of the Process engineering activities.
  • Assisting of planning of man-hour budgets, schedules, manpower loadings and staffing requirements, by skill and experience, to satisfy project requirements and direction given by the Engineering Manager.
  • Co-ordination and preparation of input to Essential Process Documents, as defined by the client/ contract. Where responsibility for update of the Master Documents is handed to the Lead Process Engineer, procedures shall be put in place to maintain document integrity.
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc.
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent.
  • 10 years Oil & Gas experience with at least 8 years offshore engineering experience.
  • Preferable Design Consultancy Experience.
  • Indonesian Nationality.

Proposals Engineer / Assistant Tender Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and assisting in preparation of the companies tenders to clients.
  • Liaise with internal departments (QHSE, Operations, Engineering, F&A, Procurement) to ensure that tender deadlines are met.
  • Assisting with coordination of all pre-award correspondence with the client.
  • Assisting with tender pre-qualification submissions.
  • Updating the Proposals Leader/Tender Manager on a regular basis about progress and areas of difficulty.
  • Providing input for the estimating process and reviewing output.
  • Assisting in the coordination of full handover to the Project Manager after award.
  • Monitoring and maintaining security of information and data.
  • Performing additional duties as advised by superiors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have minimum 3-5 years experience within Proposals / Tendering, preferably with an offshore pipeline/subsea construction or engineering background.
  • Good knowledge in computer programs (word and excel spreadsheet).
  • Will be working within a close knit team so must be a team player.
  • On occasions work the long hours required to complete the Tender and meet critical deadlines.
  • Indonesian Nationality.

Contracts Manager – Indonesia (Western Expats Only)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Co-ordination and Contractual and Commercial performance of the Main Contract including all Subcontractors and/or Suppliers on a large EPIC contract/s within Indonesia.
  • To ensure the Main Contract and Subcontracts are administered in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS) and to oversee that Subcontract procedures are adhered to.
  • Obtain the best commercial terms post contract award.
  • Carry out all tasks and duties in accordance with the established Business Management System.
  • Establish, supervise and maintain an optimal commercial project organisation in liaison with the respective base organisation discipline heads.
  • Monitor and take a leading role together with the General Manager in all variation requests/orders handling and negotiations.
  • Attend project PMR s and provide commercial recommendations and contract support.
  • Ensure Weekly Reports and Monthly Reports, including Revenue Forecasts, are prepared and issued in a timely manner.
  • Attendance and prepare Minutes of Meetings at all Client meetings.
  • Preparation and agreement of the final account.
  • Ensure that all reports to the Client, linked to commercial issues, are as required by the contract, and are provided in a timely and professional manner. Likewise, ensure all internal reporting are provided.
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual / financial disputes and provide advice to the General Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have Western Nationality & Citizenship.
  • Must have experience working in SE Asia and an understanding of Global Operators Contract Guidelines.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial/Contracts Legal subjects.
  • Professional qualification or membership desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in a Contract Management role.
  • Experience from Subsea projects an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients.
  • Produces work of presentable quality.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong initiative.
  • High degree of Contractual and Commercial awareness.
  • Good organisational skills and smart working methods.
  • Must be physically fit for required position subject to reasonable adjustments.
