Starling Resources (PT. Starling Asia) is a professional consulting firm specializing in the design of solutions and opportunities to positively address social, economic and environmental concerns.
Starling current maintains 10 staff working with a variety of non-profit, private sector and government clients.

We are seeking an Office Manager in our Sanur, Bali office. As part of our administrative team the individual will be directly responsible for supporting Starling’s Principals in most aspects of managing and supervising the day to day administrative operations, business development initiatives, and human resource needs of the firm. In addition, the individual will act as Financial Controller for the firm, working directly to lead our accountant, tax and audit partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise administrative operations and staff, ensuring that Starling policies and procedures are in place and understood by all employees.
  • Administer all accounts receivable functions. Specifically, preparing and submitting client invoices, project financial reports to Starling clients, and the firm financial statements.
  • Prepare project performance reports, cash flow projections, budgets, and various other reports as required to aide Partners in operational decision making.
  • Handle human resource and personnel matters, including administering our time sheet and expense policies, staff contracts and benefits, and supporting recruiting efforts.
  • Arrange and processing expatriate staff legal permits; visas and Kitas, work permits, necessary police reports, and other necessary documentations.
  • Organize and coordinate all staff business travel.
  • Coordinate required permits for Starling partners and other visitors coming to Indonesia.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, as well as monthly staff and admin meetings
  • Procuring materials and supplies.
  • Support and coordinate various meetings, workshops, and other functions as requested by Partners.
  • Manage, with Starling IT contractors and key staff, the firm’s IT/communication systems.
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Maintain and secure the office premises and important assets including managing Security staff and contracts.
  • Administer and manage cleaning and maintenance services.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in administration and management with a professional consulting firm or similar. Able to multi-task and interested in working on many aspects of administration to support a professional team.
  • Bachelor degree in business administration or related discipline.
  • Financial analysis skills.
  • Experience and confidence in overseeing finance/accounting/tax issues and human resource management, yet also capable and interested to support day-to-day office functions.
  • Excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia a must (written and verbal)
  • Willing to work under minimum supervise, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
