MANAGER CUSTOMER SALES – EXPLORATION
(BASED IN BALIKPAPAN or JAKARTA, JO 30671)

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing, maintaining and growing customer accounts and business results through an effective sales process for the Indonesian region. A key aspect of the responsibility is the knowledge of customer needs and the finding of solutions to satisfy those needs.
  • Participate in audits and/or inspections during site visits to ensure that workshop plant and equipment are maintained in a safe operating condition.
  • Provide monthly business analysis and market activity report updates. Communicate and follow up on marketing issues Including customer concerns, service, parts, performance and competitor s activity.
  • Prepare timely sales reports and presentations, utilize and maintain sales tools and account development plan and coordinate tenders.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers and internal employees.
  • Initiate and liaise with the Product Line Manager s and Applications Engineer on Product Development Plans.

 

Your profile:

  • At least 4-5 years sales experience within the mining and mineral exploration (or similar) industries, Experience in exploration drilling application and involvement with the Indonesian mining exploration sector would be advantageous.
  • Possess a technical aptitude and ability in exploration drilling equipment and drilling tools.
  • Financial analysis and high level of computer literacy.
  • Strong understanding of Exploration & Mining customers businesses and processes along with business development experience with demonstrated growth results.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Customer service oriented with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Extensive traveling is required of this role.

 

WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR
(BASED IN BALIKPAPAN, JO 306118)

Key responsibilities:
The role of the Workshop Supervisor is to ensure efficient repair of Sandvik and the client s equipment, by guiding technical staff through correct refurbishment, fitting procedures and as per Sandvik repair procedures.

  • Co-ordinate the carrying out of planned maintenance in workshop, the repair of equipment and components with product support Manager and Aftermarket Manager.
  • Update repair of equipment on a daily basis internally via WIP.
  • Assist in the planning of work, inventory and resources.
  • Audit repairs being carried out by technical personnel for quality and compliance.
  • Ensure completed exchange components are returned to warehouse in a timely manner, all tooling used in repair of equipment is suitably maintained and checked for safe operation as required.
  • Strict quality control of fitting and repair procedures must be followed and implemented.
  • Participation in safety improvement activities and setting highest standard of personal safety.
  • Report all accidents, incidents, and injuries immediately and complete all relevant documentation.

Your profile:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechical Engineering with at least 5 years experience in surface mining.
  • Self-motivate, willing to learn new technology, able to lead a small team with a minimum supervison.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia, good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Technical aptitude and ability in SMC equipment.
  • Customer service oriented with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of the mining industry and issues.
  • High energy and enthusiasm, persuasive and ability to work unsupervised.

 

PRODUCT SUPPORT MANAGER
(BASED IN BALIPAPAN, JO 307259)

Key responsibilities:
He/She is responsible for aftermarket support of Rotary and Top Hammer Drill parts, Underground equipment and mobile fixed plant equipment, service exchange components and also sell the service and rebuild capabilities of our Customer Service Centres.

  • Provide documentations and reporting on Installations, service and repairs of Rotary Drill applications when required.
  • Assess and improve service skill and performance for the customer. This includes organizing Product Training for service Personnel for the respective products.
  • Responsible for the customer satisfaction and equipment performance over its lifetime. This needs to include responsibility for appropriate supporting Information on service procedures, service recommendations and parts lifetime. And developing direct customer relationships with key clients and to help their teams to trouble shoot technical problems.
  • Keeping up to date in relation to competitor product development and competitor product performance.
  • To provide regular internal and external feedback to Sandvik personal. This will include internal updates of the Sandvik factory feedback system and providing significant input into strategic plans for the continued developing training program for service personnel.
  • Collect all information related to the Service and Product, ensuring that Service and product performance levels and specifications meet customer requirements.
  • Assist with site dissemination of technical bulletins and alerts for all SMC products.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and business plans.
  • Monitor parts usage patterns and liaise with Parts Manager & Inventory Controllers to ensure appropriate stock levels and stocked items

Your profile:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Mining with at least 5 -10 years experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to the delivery of Aftermarket Services in the Mining, Construction or Engineering industries.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia, good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Customer service oriented with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of the mining industry and issues.
  • High energy and enthusiasm, persuasive and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Valid Driving license.
